Bio David Fels
I had a successful traditional start to my artistic career in painting and sculpture, after switching my studies from math-physics to fine art at NSCAD and École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Genève.
Solo shows: Toronto, Calgary, Halifax, Washington, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Europe including a solo travelling exhibition to six public galleries, and numerous group shows.
Work in private and public collections in Canada, United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Much like Matisse I have developed a dedicated group of collectors who have continuously followed my artistic developments.
Considering this patronage, I was able to pursue multiple creative endeavors obtaining patents in alpine ski design, multiple novel boat designs and builds, with ongoing work in fluid dynamics. A major theoretical work exploring “Probability Inclusion Symmetry’ predicting measured physical systems is nearing completion.
At this point I have no desire to continue participating in the vagaries of the market place. However, sharing what I do with those who appreciate fine original works of art has always been an important part in the completion of a painting or sculpture.
Welcome to our gallery and studios, wherein shared interaction with our creations can be a personal and timeless experience for us and for you.
Bio Anne-Louise Andrade
It was 15 years ago while making Christmas cards with our combined family of four children that Anne-Louise’s innate talent for visual expression stunned me. After finishing our cards, the kids and I just watched transfixed by the creative passion, intellect and color sense Anne-Louise was exhibiting on a 4 x 6 inch piece of white card.
Anne-Louise had just finished her PhD based on her work in learning theory, developed through important experiences working at all levels of education.
Based on the card and Anne-Louise’s insightful critiquing of my multifarious creative endeavors, I gave her the keys to my studio and said, “It is yours for three days”.
Unfortunately, this brief time in my studio cut short a career in academia with artificial learning as its focus, a good thing for the art world.
The unexpected result of three days in my studio and a little mentoring from myself is self-evident as seen in the works depicted in this website and on the walls of our gallery.
It has been15 years since that Christmas. Anne-Louise’s paintings bring honesty, color and movement in an existential expression of human experience.
Both in our private living space, our collectors’ spaces, and as you will see in the gallery our unique works are equal in spirit and strength of expression bringing to interior spaces intellectual and creative life.

We live with an art gallery and studios in our house.
What’s not to love?
Moreover, we’ve opened our gallery and studios by rendezvous to share our creative experiences with our guests.
